Rice just knocked off the #8 national seed Oregon 1-0 on a complete game 2-hit (11 K's) effort from Jordan Stephens. Great effort - he threw about 113 pitches or so.

Umm ... I think he was being somewhat tongue-in-cheek.

What a caption! Our CUSA baseball is so pathetic this year we have only one team in the tournament. Your caption sounds like we have three or four teams in the tournament and they all won over two days. Your heading is very misleading to say the least .

You can also make the argument that perhaps the conference wasn't as pathetic as we thought. USM in particular was one team that might have deserved a bid despite its RPI. And conversely, perhaps a few of those so-called power conferences are showing they didn't deserve as many bids as they received (Florida being prime example #1).

I do find it amusing a Tulane fan is complaining considering they are one of the largest reasons this conference had such a horrible reputation in baseball this season.

Uh yeah rite...We had a winning season (barely) and went 2-1 in the CUSA Tournament. Dont blame us for CUSA's rep this season.

Hope you guys win the whole thing. Worried about Rice facing NCSU's Rodon though.
