Eh...I don't think your ace would help you much against these guys top pitcher. He is that good.

It's obvious to me we are saving our pitching in this game... Tanner was in for about 2-3 innings too long.

Once you fell behind by 3, you pretty much had to play like the loss was expected. You can beat FSU's other pitchers, but not the #1 starter. Save what you have and prepare to win 2 games tomorrow.

That's what I think is going on. We have walked 7 men tonight. That's where FSU has scored the most on. That's the most we have walked all year..... I miss u Shane McCain lol

For all the talk about ULL or SHSU facing Austin Nola, he gave up 5 runs in the first 2 innings to Sam Houston. Problem is the Bearkats have given up several of their own as well.

USA and Miss State are scoreless heading to the 3rd, USA is the home team for this one. Loser plays UCA, winner advances to tomorrow's final

I'm pulling hard for SHSU. I like our chances of beating LSU once and SHSU twice than having to beat SHSU once and LSU twice.

Miss State defeats USA 6-2. All 4 SBC teams are 1-1 and will need to win twice tomorrow to have a shot at advancing.

Tomorrow afternoon is rematch Sunday for 3 teams

Chapel Hill Regional: FAU vs Townsen (FAU visiting team)
Tallahassee Regional: Alabama vs Troy (Troy home team)
Baton Rouge Regional: ULL vs Sam Houston State (ULL visiting team)
Starkville Regional: USA vs Central Arkansas (USA visiting team)

The respective host teams for each region awaits in the regional final should any SBC teams survive. For the record, home team designation is easy to figure out for these games. In rematches, the visiting team in the first meeting is home team for the 2nd game, and in the USA game case, Central Arkansas has yet to be home team for a regional game, while USA has been home team twice.

Well if we win out that will mean that 4 BELTers are in the top 32 teams in the country---How many teams are left from the CUSA or the new American???

IIRC, CUSA only had one team qualify (Rice).
They are winning 1-0 against Oregon heading to the 8th.
Oregon has 2 hits so far with 10 strikeouts.

Nola's defense did not help him out at all, the dude had 0 earned runs put up on him. LSU booted the ball all day long. They did the same thing against Jackson St too.
