Also, we are close to getting a home and home with Vandy starting in '14.
Where did you find the info about Vandy?
This is the first time I am hearing about Vanderbilt myself. The SEC schools that I was told about were LSU, Texas A&M, Alabama, and MSU. The first three would be a home-and-home, but with the understanding from the start that the Hattiesburg game would be bid out to a neutral site. The Superdome wouldn't be written into the contract, but that would be Southern Miss's top preference. Instead, the SEC teams are going to insist on letting anyone bid, which gives their boosters a chance to buy another home game, a la Nebraska. There is nothing set in stone about that, though...just early negotiations.
Another school whom we are working on a similar possible deal with is Florida State.
I had heard that the Miami deal had been tabled for now because we couldn't agree on dates. Apparently, it is back on. However, I still have to disagree with the dates listed by the OP. The BYU series was never canceled. What happened there was that BYU got contacted by multiple conferences during realignment and sent out an e-mail to nearly all of its future opponents notifying them that they may not be able to play the agreed-to games as scheduled. When the conference negotiations fell through, BYU stayed its course concerning its future opponents.
What that means is that our 2015 non-conference schedule is full:
9-5 Mississippi State
9-19 @Texas State
9-26 @ Nebraska
10-17 BYU
The only game with a decent chance of being moved is the Texas State return game.
2014, however, has some holes to fill, as we have only the road games at Mississippi State and BYU on it right now. We currently only have a single opponent scheduled each year from 2016 onward.
The caveat I should point out, before a bunch of people say silly things, is that this is future scheduling, and a lot of things can change in the time between now and then.
