SEC B-Ball seeking primary tourney site

This bodes very well for Nashville. With the new convention center across the street from the arena and everything else downtown brings, it makes a lot of sense.

They'll soon be begging to hold it in the Yum! in Louisville.

Nashville makes a lot of sense. Close to the lone basketball power in the conference - Kentucky - while also being centralized to the entire league.

The Yum! is a nice venue. It would have been a great site to hold the Big 12 tournament on a rotating basis if they would have been smart enough to offer the invitation.

I live here in downtown Nashville, and UK completely takes over the city during tournament weekend. Broadway is very cool seeing the mix of country/western people and music and sports fanatics wearing their gear in live music dives. Definitely worth a trip for any general college basketball fan sometime. Getting to MSG for a college tournament, whoever ends up playing there, is definitely on my bucket list.

St. Louis wouldn't be a bad choice. But St. Louis isn't exactly centralized for the SEC, and I think that's going to be a factor in the selection...
