UAB lost 8 guys for the season and still came in as an 8 seed. I feel good about the future of baseball as well as basketball and football. Throw out Memphis and we upgraded in basketball. Football may be a wash. Baseball is an upgrade IMHO. Don't let the door hit you defectors.

Not to pile on, but......a big congrats from ANOTHER LA Tech fan!!! The Roadrunners (still one of my favorite mascot names, HA!) proved themselves to be very worthy adversaries in WAC play. I expect nothing less as we both enter CUSA in 2013.

Schools like UTSA & LA Tech are going to make the new CUSA a hell of a conference in 2013 and beyond. This is gonna be fun!! 04-cheers

I tend to be the same way HogDawg. The only time I don't like seeing our conference mates do well is when they are playing my Roadrunners. Or if we get to fussin over some argument... which always passes.

Thanks and great job to the WAC Conference Champs! Go Runners!

UTSA tied or led national #3 Oregon State for much of tonight's game, and held a 4-3 lead into the bottom of the ninth. Oregon State hit a double right at the base of the outfield wall for the tying and walk-off run, 5-4.

Same old story line we lead the whole game and then give them an early Christmas gift. Oh well go Runners.
