I'm defending Coach Joey Jones. I'd be excited too if I got a wide receiver who was a 4* out of high school. We hurt at the wide receiver position so this will help us greatly next year. Remember too that Coach Jones played Wide Receiver himself, so I imagine he is excited.

Ok, point taken. It was a very good get for the Jags...wish we'd have been in the running, but we'll take Van Hooser. He graduated and can play this season.

He has potential... Was Tulanes leading receiver. Be interested to see what he can do with us.

He had 11 catches in 12 games. However, 5 of those were touchdowns.

That was probably all 5 TDs Tulane got all year! Lol

He was Tulane's #1 receiver in 2011. Coaching change in 2012 relegated him and a few other high performing receivers to new roles and significantly less balls were thrown his way. He's really fast from what I can tell and could another dimension to our go ball happy offense.

Word is he will sign with TROY on Tuesday.
