Here is my challenge.

Name 8 D-1 college BB programs that:
1. Do not have a "team name" that ends in an "s"
2. nor is associated with a color.

For example, Syracuse "Orangemen" meets 1. but fails in 2.

And I wonder if I can claim North Dakota which doesn't have a team name because they changed it from the Fighting Sioux (I admit that I had to cheat to look at their previous name, but I remembered that they didn't have one).

No team name means that it doesn't end in an s or have a color right?

However, Fighting Sioux would count if it were their team name.

yeah, that counts. I update my total count to 12 with Fatmonarch's mention of Marshall. I guess the thundering herd doesn't leave much impression on me.

Do I get bonus points for being so wrong I'm right with the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors which not only ends in an s but has every single color in it?

Their women's teams are the Rainbow Wahine and you could argue that rainbow is not a color, so that might count.

That leads me to a possible other trivia question since we're close to completing this one. Could we name all of the DI schools that have different official names for their men's and women's teams?

Don't feel bad ODUGS. I put up the Crimson Tide, Presbyterian Blue Hose and Stanford Cardinal before re-reading the color part of the question. Eh, it's late and summer break. My reading comprehension skills are on vacation until August. Hopefully my boss doesn't notice.

As for your trivia question, I immediately thought of ODU, U. of Tennessee (Vols/Lady Vols) and Louisiana Tech (Bulldogs and Lady Techsters).

However, I googled and found a Wiki page with the rest of the schools (though Centenary shouldn't be listed since they switched to the Cyclones for both men and women):
