I took a snapshot of the message board page for Andre's libel attorney.

Haha, I don't think the post was meant to really compare ourselves to Stanford but rather to say you can have high academic standards, great student athletes, and still be very successful on the field/court/whatever playing surface. Obviously we're not Stanford.

I understand now after reading the rest of the posts. Someone posted something rather, ahem, unsavory shall we say and whatever it was isn't necessarily meant for public consumption. So it was deleted, but the posts following haven't been.

Now I'm just being nosy...07-coffee3

RE: 2 schollies open. bye to Hood and Marks
Looks like dukesfan4010 wasn't wrong in the slightest about Andre Nation failing drug tests:

"I was with Arman the past few weeks. He was done completely wrong. Coach called him in for a "workout." Picked him up and took him to the convo to tell him he is transferring. Cited everything he cant do, how he cant help the program, and how they no longer need him. Not one player on the team likes Brady, and many arent happy about the Marks situation and how it has gone down. And yes, it will hurt in regards to future recruiting. His reputation is steadily getting worse and his own players (I know of 3-4 in the past week) are even telling people to not come play for him.

I'd rather have some who brings it everyday and works their tail off, even if they arent as talented, than someone who is failing drug tests, skipping out on class, and cussing coaches out. Even if you are one of the top rookies in the league, character and integrity have to count for something. I just wish Brady could see the same."

Perhaps his "libel attorney" won't be necessary after all...

Also, I should add, I don't necessarily support that it was exposed back then before any public information has been shared (even though we still don't know for sure it was a failed drug test(s)). Just saying it turns out it was true back then.
