I think we should have a poll to see what people sleep in. Or, whether they wear boxers or briefs. And, for the women, grannies or thongs? I mean, this is some heavy stuff!

Like all bulldogs, I wear a suit to bed.... my birthday suit. I know, TMI! And I haven't owned a t-shirt since high school.

As for the sweat - I always keep my suit jacket or sport coat on if I'm going with the suit (whether with tie or no tie) or dress shirt - so any sweat that might come through the shirt is under jacket and not visible.
Keeping the jacket on is just more professional IMHO

At my company we're kind of supposed to wear a jacket but it's not a strict requirement. When it's over 80 degrees I go without. It's ridiculous and you can break a sweat walking two blocks even if you're in shape, not to mention I have to take the metro to work in DC. F that. I don't really have sweating problems so shirt and tie w/o undershirt works for me. That's why they invented spray deodorant.

These might help: http://www.jockey.com/catalog/Product/Jo...irt-2-pack

I sweat like a beast (NYC's brick oven subway stations don't help). I find these help, a bit. Abuse them all summer, then in Fall, throw them out and order some new ones (clearance price) for next year.

Haha, yeah NYC's subway system is brutal in the summer. I always thought it would be a great business idea to make "summer suits" out of some type of thin material (think UnderArmour or some of the Nike stuff) that make a lot more sense when it's hot as hell out. Of course you'd have to figure out how to make them look classy and probably overprice them at first to give off the impression that it's the cool thing to do rather than cheap schtick. Then you could gradually bring prices back to earth. But, wearing the typical suit on a 95 degree day on any subway system is just ridiculously uncomfortable and stupid.

Yes. Absolutely mandatory with white dress shirts...so gross when you can see skin tone through a shirt.

Cent, clearly, you are in this same argument with your fellow workers and the majority are telling you the same thing. You simply want to debate, but to each his own. I really couldn't give a rats butt as to whether you wear one or not. Its just different than my thinking, soooooooo no big deal. By the way, make sure you are wearing purple briefs. You probably are going "oh natural" with that as well, so never mind.

I wear waders to work, so my opinion really doesn't count, I just know it's all fun and games until someone loses a nipple.

I used to have to wear band aids under a couple of our uniforms when I played at JMU. They would wear you down in a hurry and were painful. Material back in those days was rough!

if you wear a shirt under you can get away with multiple wears of the dress shirt without dry-cleaning. think economical- more money to give to the Duke club or something like that. yes to undershirts!

Poor BSKB. He makes the most compelling argument of the whole thread. Save the nipples!

When you live in a place that's hot and 100% humidity the last thing you want to wear is another layer of clothing... And please don't compare DC to the weather in Charleston, it's not even close.

I dream about a world where it is totally legal and socially acceptable to slap annoying people.

Actually, I like talking about something totally off the wall like this. The FCS/FBS/Conference stuff is getting old especially knowing there is nothing I can do to change the process or the amount of time Alger/Bourne will take.

Despite his wonderfully brash arrogance, I must say that Cent brings up interesting topics that make the boards a better place.
