Your 10 wins were over teams that were all rated over 100 (most over 150) and 3 were over 200. You even lost to 2 teams that were rated worse than you; Citadel 156 and App State 120. You only played 2 teams rated below the 100s and lost to both. Not very impressive.

Losses
171 Jackson State
222 Elon
157 Samford
237 W. Carolina
123 Wofford
211 Furman
179 Chattanooga
177 Howard
122 C. Arkansas
106 ODU

You did not beat any team that was rated better than you and ALL Belt teams were rated better with the exception of transitioning USA. With your 2012 trend, you would have had 9 losses vs 1 win against Belt teams.

Sand bagging is probably the best option.
Much better option than our option offense anyway.
We will probably have to change the whole thing and start over from scratch. I just hope we can be able to compete with the new guys to FBS. Ofcourse Gast and USA have such a big head start on us that we really may never catch up or it might take a decade or so. And somehow App State with their world known win over Michigan will get much better players than us as we shouldnt think we can win that SBC East game either. Throw in the the mystery team yet to be named and the improvement that they will instantly see by moving to the FBS and you just know that they will surely overpower our little high school offense.

I'm seeing maybe 1-5 in the SBC East IF we can pull off a miracle upset somehow. Heck if we are lucky enough to beat the one FCS OOC game then we might be able to win two games in 2014! No way we could upset a middle of the "pack" ACC team even if they are running a new system - I mean no SBC or SOCON team has ever upset a BCS team right? We might have stood a chance against Navy and GT since they run a high school offense to, but Navy has the resources of the Federal Govt. so they certainly unbeatable. Yea I know we came close a couple of years back when our guys were first learning our sytem, but they have been FBS for so long that they could never lose to a FCS team much less one in transition with 22 more scholarships. We might as well not even show up in Atlanta to play football at Bobby Dodd or the Dome! You think we could just get them to mail us the check and not have to risk anybody getting hurt? 03-phew 03-puke

This is not a personal comment to anybody by the way.
I think we have two people on here who are way over the top.
And no, I'm not one of them.
Outside of that, It all looks fine to me.

Check out the bold print - You had to have meant wins.

And considering we beat all those teams, the rankings probably reflect that. And are we going by computer rankings now? Cause I can show you a few years where they rank us higher than UGA.

You do realize that there are probably only 2 (if that) teams from the FCS that should be ranked higher than us and really only one. And the difference between us and them (NDSU) was about the same as the difference between Alabama and UGA as our games played out very similar.

We lost to UGA, a team that was 5 yards away from a BCS National Championship and NDSU the two year running FCS National Champions (with several FBS wins and even BCS wins). The Citadel loss was the worse and App - Well they are App and we were ranked #1 and we both know how that goes.

All three FCS games we lost were by 3 points or less, and we missed multiple field goals that could have won them all. Our kicking game really killed us last year.

All we can do is play the games on the Schedule. We won most of them. That doesnt mean that we wouldnt have won some of the same games that some SBC teams won. And I doubt North Texas would have beat Wofford (Nearly beat Clemson), Ga Southern or App State. Look at common opponents and how we did versus how you did.

By the time we play our FBS schedule, we will have the same number of scholarships and have two FBS recruiting seasons under our belt. I just wish the NT greenbugjuicebleeders were not leaving the conference so that we could show you a real whooping and stomp you like a bug!

I'd like to add NT to the list of hated teams.

He must have us ranked so low because of a new head football coach and the players we lost to the NFL.

No that's for 2012 before the NC game. The highest ranking FCS was SHSU at 125. We were at 105. Take it for what it's worth, probably not alot, especially across FCS/FBS lines.
