Although I appreciate the words of encouragement, the AAC needed that series for obvious reasons.... That would have been must see tv against a BIG XII opponent. A win would have done wonders for a conference that's trying to separate itself from the other mid-majors...and this isn't speculation.

Call Mizzou. We had an awesome BE game, which we lost last year, with Syracuse. I would love a Cincy game. I doubt that Cincy will have many future problems with scheduling.

We said no thanks because in Cincinnati, you know as well as I do, we are simply afraid of Texas Tech. They might man handle us and beat us too, too bad. We can't handle a program like Texas Tech. Yes, Texas Tech offered something ridiculous in their favor as a way to publish that Cincinnati said no. Winning that series would have boosted the imagine of the AAC. I don't understand the logic in turning down a series against a BIG XII opponent like TT. I honestly had no clue about cincy and their sub 30K fan base until our former loser HC bolted for a BBall school in the midwest.

Damn commuter schools. I will never support UNT but I think they belong in the same conference with other commuter schools who can't put 30K in the stands on a yearly basis.

Cincinnati is horrible at drawing crowds for anything, too many things to do around here...
