A lot of us have pushed for Missouri State, but have heard nothing back. We do not even know if their administration is willing to make the jump to FBS right now. Do you have any idea?

No one else seems to know. Maybe the Missouri State administration might let us know if we keep asking people.

So, with the above post you know that he is in favor of Missouri State, he doesn't come onto the board ever or at least often, so I am to miss asking someone that might know something?

I really am beginning to think that Madison may bumble their way out of an FBS bid. For a school that was thinking ahead (stadium expansion) they are way, way behind in the process, and it has cost them.

Our chancellors and presidents will be meeting next month... I fully expect they will be reviewing a list of 3-5 candidates. It certainly seems clear from my vantage point that having a championship game in 2014 is very high up on the list. If any of the top three can commit to moving up at the same time as AppState and Southern... I think they get the bid. JMU will say nothing until their study is done in June.

Would hope that the JMU administration would come to their senses and make a decision to join the Sun Belt. The CAA that they are in for football isn't the place for them to be. Neither is FCS. CUSA isn't likely to offer them anything, not with other strong programs they could offer. Maybe we will all get a surprise.

The Citadel has 2000 undergrads. They don't have the size to compete at the FBS level.
