Yep they filled our spot. LSU moved our game to 2015. We have scheduled Navy, NC State, and GT in 2014.
EDIT: I retract that statement above, I realized its the week after our scheduled game against LSU. However, according to our coaches tour the game WAS moved to 2015 but it hasn't been reflected on any schedules yet.

I feel Georgia Southern chances of winning are better against Navy, NC State, and GT: than they would be against LSU in 2014.

As for LSU, the addition of New Mexico State certainly doesn’t help the strength of their 2014 schedule. The Tigers are already slated to host ULM on Sept. 6 and Georgia Southern on Sept. 13. GSU will be a member of the Sun Belt in 2014 after moving up from the FCS.

Eh, they have a better chance than that.
App almost beat NC State in 2006, and now The Stink will have a year of FBS recruiting to deepen the bench.

Where did you see the Navy and NC State games added?

TK said it last night at during the first Coaches Tour event.

Those are three winnable games.
LSU ain't happening though.
The last time we played Navy was the second game with Coach Monken at the helm and we lost 13-7. That should be a very close game that we have a great chance to win. NC State I'm not sure about, but they haven't exactly been impressive lately to the best of my recollection...I honestly don't know what to say about our chances in that one. As for GT, I'd expect an all out war on both sides honestly. That one could go either way....and it will either be a shootout or very low scoring. I don't see it being lopsided either way, but I'm not about to guarantee a win there.
As for LSU....I might just stay outside and tailgate, that's where all the fun is anyway.

Please, you think they have a 1% chance against Navy? Navy is NOT that good of a team. It's WAY too early to be making predictions, but I'd give them at least a 40% chance of winning.
I can't say anything about NC State and GT, because... well, I don't know enough about them. But we played Navy last season and had a shot to win at the end. If Georgia Southern recruits well and plays sound ball, they can pull an upset.
LSU? I don't give them much of a shot at all, but it's not a knock on Georgia Southern. It's a credit to the quality of the program that LSU is.
