RE: Predict the SBC 2013 Attendance
With a couple more wins this year, and the weather cooperates, we could see some better numbers then last year. However, it's the 2014 season that we are pointing at, we have Miss St and Navy coming to town that year.

I'd say WKU will average over 20k this year.

Bobby Petrino has the fan base (and the bandwagon fans) fired up.

UK at LP Field is a home game for us.

We only play one home game in November and it is against stAte to finish the year. If that game still has any conference champ implications, I think we could see some decent attendance for it too.

26,500?

There's no playoff game to destroy our average this year. Depending on weather, I could see us averaging as high as 31,000. I'm thinking closer to 28,500-29,000.

Troys attendance will be down this year... No good home games besides USA... Probably average closer to 20k than 22k

And ULM won't average 23k sorry lol. They only averaged 20 something last year cause they had a home game with Baylor and a "home" game with Arkansas.... They have no real big home game this year... They will be at 17k max.

RE: Predict the SBC 2013 Attendance
Will be intersting to see where App and GSU end up.

App is in a very excitng time IMO, Satterfield taking over, Woody taking over the defense, last chance for our fans to watch us pound the Socon. One thing about App though, is the weather can and does affect attendance. Two or three years ago, I think it rained, sleeted or snowed at every single home game. We'll have to see.

As Gonzo said, the lack of playoffs will increase our attendance automatically. The reg season att is close to 28,000 without the 14,000 playoff game.

ASU might go down a little. ULM will likely drop without a "home" game in Little Rock. USA might do a little better than last year when we faced so many weather obstacles. Without giving numbers I'd probably rank the attendances this way:

Louisiana-Lafayette
Texas State
WKU
ASU
USA
Troy
ULM
Georgia State

I think 4-6 could go in any order. Your new member rankings look about right. I'd need to look at schedules for a better guess.

RE: Predict the SBC 2013 Attendance
TROY is going to suck balls in attendance this year guys. There's a number of factors working against us...

1. We only have THREE Saturday home games. All the others are during the week. That kills attendance there.

2. We don't play no one good at home Savannah State, ULM etc I mean come on... USA and UAB should be good draws tho

3. We have sucked the past 2 years.

I see us ranking like this

UL
ASU
TROY
WKU
Texas state
USA
ULM
Ga Stare

There have been many games were App has had over 30,000 fans in KBS. I wouldn't put it past us to average 28k fans.

Not to pick on them, but they averaged 19,359 if you throw out the Arkansas game. This was helped tremendously by the sellout against Baylor.

We may get more Auburn fans in attendance this year though.

We do not have a great home slate, but with only five home games we will average above 27k if we have good weather.

Last year, App averaged 27,964 without the playoff game.

Increased interest from the move may also push us higher.

RE: Predict the SBC 2013 Attendance
We averaged 22k last year but better games... 3 of the 6 were over 20k

Next year will be a good attendance year... Having Duke come to Troy and probably atleast one of the App state/ GA southern games

This year our big game will be USA.... There will easily be over 25k there IMO maybe pushing 30.

Our home schedule this year isn't great. It's not horrible but i think it could affect attendance. I think we'll be anywhere from 18-20K.

RE: Predict the SBC 2013 Attendance
I'll be very surprised if TXST averages 20K this year.

Fan support is growing and should be a little better than last season.. but it's not nearly where it should be yet. Attendance will depend on our success on the field. We also dont have a marquee home game like we did last year. Texas Tech game inflated our attendence numbers some.

My guess is that we'll probably average around 18,000 - unless we pull out some amazing upsets.
Our numbers should steadily grow each season as there is lots of potential here, but I doubt we'll see many packed houses in 2013.
