Same here. But we do get GaSo and UTC on back to back weeks, thats something. Unfortunately we go to Georgia the next week.

Ark St - 25,250
ULL - 25,000
ULM - 23,250
Troy - 22,000
Tx St - 20,000
USA - 18,000
WKU - 17,250
GaSta - 14,000

App - 26,500
GS - 20,250
NMSU - 15,000
Idaho - 13,000

I'd say WKU will average over 20k this year.

Bobby Petrino has the fan base (and the bandwagon fans) fired up.

UK at LP Field is a home game for us.
We only play one home game in November and it is against stAte to finish the year. If that game still has any conference champ implications, I think we could see some decent attendance for it too.

Yes but it will it count in our season average for attendence? I dont think it was included two seasons ago in our home attend. average when we played UK in Nashville...What helps us this season is only one Nov. home game...People in BG do not go outside if its under 50 and in Nov. for football....Having a Tues. night game hurts too plus Morgan st. being our first real football home game...NOt a big name like Southern Miss coming either this season...We have played Navy at home already twice....I am not pulling out the excuses, but this is what the normal bandwagon BG and area fan will say, haha...I will guess we hit 18.5k this season and than your will see a big jump in 2014 in our first season in CUSA....

And ULM won't average 23k sorry lol. They only averaged 20 something last year cause they had a home game with Baylor and a "home" game with Arkansas.... They have no real big home game this year... They will be at 17k max.

Not to pick on them, but they averaged 19,359 if you throw out the Arkansas game. This was helped tremendously by the sellout against Baylor.
We have grambling and Tulane for the first two home games this year which should be a big draw. Our conference home games are a little better instead of FAU unt and USA, we get WKU arkst, gastate( probably a 14,000 game.)and should of had troy but got hosed on that one. Outside of the ULL and baylor games last year no home game was against a team with decent record coming in so no fan excitement. The ULL game was also the same day as lsu vs Alabama, so all our shallow fans and alum were in Baton Rouge. I think we still had 23000 for that game, but 2k Cajuns. 31200 for Baylor and take out the arky game we averaged around 20000. The 2013 team will likely be ULM's best ever and with a good start to the season( maybe an upset in Norman) we may more than exceed that 23000. But a slow start and under 20k is very likely.

RE: Predict the SBC 2013 Attendance
I can see TROY getting around 19k in attendance this year.

Saturday games:
UAB is our opener- should bring in around 22k. Hopefully the UAB fanbase will be pumped up about the season and bring a few thousand fans to bump that # up.
Sav St (??)- probably around 18k.
USA is our biggest home game- should bring in around 25k. Hopefully more.

Thursday game:
ULM- 16k- Honestly, I wouldn't be too upset about 16k

Friday game:
TSU game- 14k- unfortunately this game is the day after Thanksgiving. There will be hardly any students. Not too many out of state fans. We really need to market this game to the locals/dothan/montgomery.

RE: Predict the SBC 2013 Attendance
Texas St did very poorly wih attendance last year after the Tech game. I think the aveage taking out hat one was maybe 15000-16000. It didn't help Tech blew us out and we lost 8 times. I'm thinking 17,000 is as much as we can hope for without a marquee game. Though tickets are a little cheaper since Tech isn't coming. However, there are a lot of fans on our board that aren't renewing season tickets due to lack of an intersting home scheule

It IS on our website, but for some reason or another they haven't linked it to the home page, but I just pull the one from FB schedules. It's easier.

RE: Predict the SBC 2013 Attendance
impressive attendance numbers for Appy State. Great addition to the SBC.

IMO, Attendance and your basic fan interst should be more important that market size.

APPY State with 30,000 fans >>>> FIU with 1000 fans

Just my opinion. Not trying to jab at FIU because they have so much potential but man they need better support.

I'm going against the grain for WKU

22,000

18400 at 5 home games and 40k for uk

If we beat uk and go 10-2/9-3 with decent weather

24,000

Actually ULM has a home game with Grambling that will be close to a sell out and a home game with Tulane that should be a very good crowd. With good weather I think we'll be over 20k average.

our home schedule SUCKS this season.

Savannah St. - they bring a good amount of fans 45 mins up the road

Saint Francis - WHO?!?!?!

Chattanooga - Hopefully they will be undefeated going into the game and bring a small crowd

Citadel - Revenge game, they don't travel the 2 hour hike down the road to see us though

Furman - Our #2 rival but they have been terrible, since this may be our last game ever it should be well attended

WCU - easy blowout win, they don't travel.

I think Tulane will be improved, but so will we. I don't think there is any way they've improved enough over last year to beat us. However, a cool side note, Joe Montana should be in Monroe to watch his son.

Is that the same son that was going to play for the U. of Montana? I went to the Montana game at App State last year and expected to see him play, but he had left Montana without me knowing it. Was happy that Appalachian beat Montana but kind of sad not to see him on the field.

Do we get to count the UK attendance in Nashville?? I understand it's a home game but somebody posted we didn't get to count the attendance last time.

I'm counting it and that's all that matter in my prediction :)

The NCAA did not count the uk game 2 years ago but if you read the post about ULM they counted their game in Little Rock against Ark. Maybe Todd needs to point this out as a "true home game" to the NCAA

I agree with you it should count and if it does i agree with your number. It's just hard to average 22000 in a stadium as small as ours. Plus you know when it's cold the last home game will have 100 people in attendance not counting me, you, Beed and TX.
