I know where you are coming from and from an adult perspective I tend to agree, but having worked with terminally ill children I can tell you that anything that gives them a thrill is worth every moment and it tends to help them emotionally get up for their fight which too frequently they lose. So, from that perspective cheesy as it might seem on the surface and as convoluted as the pr motives might be, to the kids its a big danged deal. And if that (the child's perspective) is the only genuine part of it then its fine by me.

I agree, JR. I've seen kids fighting cancer, and seeing them smile was worth any effort...

I have no problem with this, and why teddy's daddy does is beyond my comprehension...
