I've been to Newport News Shipyard. I've seen that drydock. I've seen a carrier in that drydock. I still didn't think it was going to fit!

They gotta build it somewhere. I'd figure you could park it there as well. I'm surprised they don't have the little trains on the docks like at the Panama Canal to help get it in.

You can't see them but there are tracks on either side of the drydock that cranes use. I don't know why they don't use trains.

The other thing you can't see is the giant wood blocks under the water. Before they flood the dock they place them. Then a guy "eye balls" them. Sometimes moving them as little as an inch. When the water is pumped out, the ship settles on the blocks and is perfectly level.

They need to part it right off the coast of North Korea!!!
