How did we get moved from the CUSA board to here, when we will be in CUSA for another year, if the rumors are right. Based on rumors.....I haven't seen anything close to official about the move.....will we get moved back to the CUSA board if the rumors are false??? I think this is a little premature!!!

Don't know, but for a while we were on both boards. Its the same for ECU. They're on the oBE board too and no longer on the CUSA board.

TBH, I'm glad for one reason and that is we won't get trashed so much by the CUSA folks, many of who seem pretty bitter. We need to leave on good terms IMO. This is neither their fault nor ours.

Yeah, I hope none of the Tulsa fans get that holier than thou attitude over there. It's just the way things are in college athletics today......and in reality we still don't know if it is true so I hope they keep their mouths shut....but I'm sure there will be some who can't!!!!

I think you'll only see TU fans defending TU and Tulsa. There are quite a few butthurt Marshall and USM fans that are talking some pretty mad trash... kinda sad, but kinda funny too.

Their tune would instantly change if they were to receive and invite.

Anyway, I'm not going to go start something over there, but I'm not going to let one of those morons talk garbage about TU without saying something.

After all the "next week" rumors, I have been saying I will wait for the press conference before I believe anything. However, as soon as I saw it was a McMurphy tweet, then article, I felt we had finally made it. Apparently, everyone else believes it's true now, as well. This has been taking an agonizingly long time. I sure hope they announce it officially by next week!
