As far as I can tell, it is an app that tells everyone you used it when you post on a message board.

I'm using the Safari browser for the iPhone. The most popular and supported mobile browser. It does not do anything when I press the X button.

Just because it is popular doesn't mean it's right. See: Internet Explorer.

Works precisely as I described on Android, Blackberry, and Chrome for iOS.

Android and Chrome mobile browsers are both based on webkit, just as iOS.

I never said it was the best, but you don't usually try to develop for the non-popular platform. I imagine that most of the people that visit this forum network on a regular basis via mobile phones are doing so on the iPhone Safari browser.

Not finding a solution will just end up driving those people to be on less and lower traffic and engagement.

But...you're the boss.

It's a free site for anybody to use. You guys have a problem and he offered a solution. Maybe you could start your own site since you seem to know more than he does?

It's free with ads. And I agree, it is free. But that's a site-breaking glitch that should be addressed. I have no problems with ads being everywhere, that one destroys functionality of the site.

It was a suggestion from us to fix it...but instead I was told that my phone (the most widely used in the world) is wrong. But like I said, it's his site...he can do what he wants. 04-rock

Your grievance is better directed to Tapatalk themselves. We are running the latest version. Me delving into third party software which could overwrite my fix at any update is so far down my priority list it won't see the light of day. I still have to finish the Skin 2.0 rollout and welcome three new fan bases to the site. If Tapatalk fixes it, it will be fixed here whenever they update their release.
