I'd think Lutz would be a good candidate for Troy. Assuming he doesn't have any skeletons in the closet I don't know about.

Lutz has always been a home body. He's hardly never left the state of North carolina. When he was hot at Charlotte, he turned down a lot of bigger jobs because he wanted to stick close to home. He ended up staying too long and getting fired. Now he is at NC state, and if he moves back to being a head coach, I bet it's going to be on the East Coast close to home.

I don't know if he is on the list, but I could see him at ODU.

no way Gottfried did any of the coaching, he's there to recruit, Lutz is the main assistant heck he might even be associate HC, I don't know.
