Nice article about Coach Evans and his Norfolk State program. I will be pulling for them tonight against the Wahoos.

RE: NSU Coach Anthony Evans
Go Spartans! They are 16 point underdogs on sportsbook.com

I'm thinking about taking a 7 point teaser with them, VCU and Long Island.

It would raise Norfolk State to +23, VCU to -0.5 and Long Island to +5. 100 wins 83 dollars and change.

Hmm. I don't know if I trust Norfolk State but considering UVA's "style", I don't think they will win by 23.

*Just checked, they've won 3 games by more than 23 points this season, Seattle University who is 8-22, MVSU who was 5-23 and Wofford who was 13-19. Norfolk State is significantly better than every single one of those teams. Not to mention, there will be absolutely NO ONE there for that game and the crowd will be dead.

Hmmm.....

Norfolk state is going to cover +23 easily for me.

Now I need vcu to just win and liu can lose by no more than 5 and I'll be racking up another 100 or so.

Made quite a few other NCAA tourney bets, if anyone wants to make some money off my bball knowledge, all you have to do is ask ha

RE: NSU Coach Anthony Evans
Quote:Two months ago, Evans hired Coaches Inc, a Washington, D.C.-based firm, to represent him.

"There's going to be interest in Anthony," said Coaches Inc's John Colan. "If he's been able to have that much success at Nortolk State, there's no reason to think he can't do it anywhere."

Evans said he has made a home in Norfolk. His wife, Kisha, grew up in this area, and the couple have an 8-month-old son.

"We're very happy here," Evans said.

Is he trying to get that ODU job? I wouldn't be surprised if he's applied for it.
