UALR bunted into a triple play Friday...that was quite amusing.

WKU broke out the brooms in a twin bill against MTSU to take sole possession of first place (3-0). ASU, FAU, ULL, and USA all improved to 2-0. MTSU, UALR, FIU, ULM, and Troy are winless in conference play.

As Panama noted, GSU (13-6) improved to 4-1 in CAA action with an incredible comeback against Old Dominion. The Panthers and James Madsion sit in a tie atop the CAA standings.

Texas State (6-12) bounced back to defeat TAMU-CC by a score of 5-3.

UTA (9-9) dropped a second game to McNeese State by a score of 10-5.

Troy beats USA 8-7 today to avoid the sweep... These were VERY close games. Could have gone either way for both programs.

UL is now 16-3 and we have been receiving votes in the rankings for the past few weeks along with USA, I think we might see the Cajuns slip into the rankings this week. I hope.

Although I wouldn't be surprised if we are still on the outskirts, but getting the sweep today definitely helps our case.

That South AL series at the Tigue towards the end of the season is looking intriguing to say the least.

Schedule is very different this year, we traditionally play you guys early in the year, but now have to wait till May as well.

I think the top three will be UL, USA and Troy... I'm hoping we get 2 of 3 next go around with USA.

Agreed, Troy looks solid as well. If there's one thing I still love about the Sun Belt, it's our baseball teams.

Dont sleep on ASU. We've got the pitching, its just a matter of whether the offense can kick into gear.

South slipped in at #25 in one poll.
