Pretty ridiculous what he's been able to do when it counts. Can't do anything but give WKU props. A job well done indeed. I hate it, but a job well done. Congrats.

his records at the lower levels was ridiculous amigo.

his ky wesleyan and okc teams loved to run and press. he doesn't have the horses to do that yet.

and there's a really good chance he stays. he's an older (51) local guy that loves family.

Very impressed with Harper. Would like him to get things going and Marlin to get things going to have some Cajuns-Topper throwdowns circa 90-05.

It's incredibly painful to come this close (2 points) and not make the NCAA tournament. But what can I say? WKU totally deserved the win. You guys have a heck of a team. Harper is an amazing coach. It seems WKU was never out of position. We had to chuck up 3s all game. Great job WKU, I hope you represent the Sun Belt well in the tourney. My comfort in this loss is that we will be back strong next year. It's a shame it won't be in the Sun Belt with this group of teams though. It's been quite a fun ride.

What Harper did was amazing with the injuries and with Derrick Gordon (our top scorer and rebounder from last year) transfering out.

But Harper got most of his players back.

What Pitino did this year was also amazing. He lost a BUNCH of players off of a team that wasn't very good last year. He basically built a team from scratch and nearly won the conference with it.

FIU has a LOT to look foward to in C USA basketball.
