RE: Kickout UALR
UALR is a good member. I want whats best for them. Same for UTA. The list for the MVC candidates, if Creighton leaves and as reported by CBS this morning, doesn't include them. Denver is on that list. I want you guys around but I wouldn't be upset if you guys got a better deal (you dont play football) in the MVC.

Absent a MVC bid, I dont see a more attractive alternative arrangement for you guys. And Im happy to have you guys around.

Coupled with the best facilities in the conference IMO. Our athletic budget is larger than both UL and ASU. Yes we have a small market and that's what workings against us.... Our main campus is growing at 9k now. And plans for 15k within 10 years. But we have 3 campuses outside Troy that's less than an hour away.

Your basketball arena is nice. It's on par with Diddle and the Mitchell Center IMO. It's just new is all. If you think it's nicer because of the video board and ribbon scoreboards then that's fine and your opinion. But it's nothing to upgrade any arena in the league to have those. It is a nice arena and easily one of the best, but I'm not ready to crown it the best yet.

Your baseball stadium isn't the nicest in the league. You are third at best behind Stnaky Field and Tigue Field in my opinion. ULM has a nice stadium too that might even be ahead of Troy.

No one can match the Cajuns in terms of softball field.

I haven't seen Troy's football practice facilities, but I do know that USA's are top of the line. In fact, it was said both Troy and ASU announced plans for new facilities after seeing how nice USA's was while in town. Kent State coaches wouldn't even allow their players to practice there because they didn't want their players to realize how nice it is. I don't think you're tops there yet.

Your football stadium is nice. It's debatable who actually has the best. I am not sure it's Troy.

Troy's track is on par with most. Best? Hard to say but I'm not inclined to say so.

Troy's soccer field is the middle of the track. You don't even have a separate area for it.

Troy's tennis courts are not the best in the league.

What am I forgetting?

RE: Kickout UALR
There are fans who think that if you are in you, should play all the major sports.

For years there were football members of the Big East who thought the same and now all of them are in other leagues except for UConn, Cincy, and USF.

Same here. Georgia Southern was the team I got up for the most in the old TAAC days. I've been clamoring to schedule you guys ever since we left and hopefully you'll get added to make that a reality. I might even be more excited for that game than the ASU game.
