2013/14 tournament
@TheDPsports: Per Bob Huggins on Big 12 call, WVU mid-season tourney the Cancun Challenge will also include Wisconsin, Old Dominion & St. Louis.

Prettydecent heavy hitters for a tournament to not know who our coach will be. Thoughts?

Well, if we are going to get our asses kicked, it might as well be against someone decent.

j/k. Hopefully we'll land a big man and be a little more competitive next year as the rebuilding starts.

Dang, if we had retained Blaine, the ODU-Wisconsin game could have been heralded as the 'slowest basketball game of all time'.

This looks like this will be a thanksgiving tournament if it is the same as this past year.

On the bright side, we'll be filling what will likely be one of two cupcake spots. Aside from our counterpart on the other side of the bracket, every game we play will be a positive RPI opportunity. This team can play up to its competition on occasion as well. We might catch someone by surprise. Some form of progress is almost certain.

Believe it or not, the only time we played Wisconsin under Blaine, both teams scored in the 70's. I think dahi dropped nearly 30 if I remember correctly.

Of course that was back when we played a little faster tempo with dahi hunter drew and Loughton instead of that crap ball we played earlier this year under Blaine.

St. Louis is the top team from the A10 right now. I wouldn't call them a cupcake team.
