I don't know much, but I know Wednesday night will be an emotional night. I don't know of an athlete who has been as popular as Naama since Bruce.

Wow, what a great column by Hack. Naama has definitely been a special player for this program and it has been fun to follow her over the last five years. Watching her and the crowd reaction to her a few weeks ago against Kent State really hit me. Our fans are just crazy for her. I cannot imagine what it's going to be like tomorrow night for her final home game.

All that said, I'm firmly in the Kim Knuth camp in terms of best player in UT's history. Like Hack pointed out, Naama could very well be the most popular player in the school's history.

Hopefully the attendance will be well over 5000.
A solid Toledo win would be fitting end for such an incredible person.

What is Naama's major?

+1 for Kim Knuth as Toledo Women's Basketball Best Player.
Kim actually played in four (4) NCAA Tournament games (2-1996, 1-1997 & 1-1999)

Naama is Majoring in Business with a 4.00 GPA

Just as a clarification about my previous post:

1) my post referred to number of tournaments, not number of tournament games

and, 2) my post referred to overall undergraduate GPA, not a semester GPA.

I'm sure there will be many tears when she and her senior classmates are introduced for the last time in Savage Arena.

Naama and Bruce have both shown that rare ability to sometimes simply "will their team to victory" in spite of all odds, simply by refusing to lose. Naama against USC (particularly in the second half) and Bruce (particularly in the fourth quarter against Pitt) are examples that come to mind. I don't know exactly what you call it because it goes so far beyond just sheer determination or great leadership ----- it is a very special quality.
