the long delay by the officials near the end of the game was to determine if SMU had an illegal substitution. there was a question wheter or not Bernardini (#22) checked out and back in with no time off the clock and no play (free throw). the offical scorer couldn't give them a specific answer so they allowed the substitution to stand.

We win the next game, we're at least at .500 at the end of the year. Considering where we were a few months ago, that's huge.

The official scorer was in error and about to piss his pants. Looked like an illegal substitution to me. That was one if the worst officiated games I have seen in some time and I have see a few bad ones.

Yes. The key momentum shift for us was the phantom charge on Quincy followed immediately by the phantom travel on #12 as a make-up call.

At least they weren't reviewing the free throw.

Swing's 2nd foul seemed equally phantomish from my end & it hurt him going out that early in the game but at least Foz stepped it up until Rucker/Swing got it going in the 2nd.
