I think the game this time around will be much closer than when MT and WKU faced off in Murfreesboro. I do expect a lot of blue however. Last time Western was really banged up. How do things look now? I've been focused on Middle how have you been playing recently?

Lately a lot better...Our defense has seemed to regress a little, but our offense looks a lot better with Crook back....Granted this was against FIU, FAU, and two Lousiana schools, but I am impressed how well our offense has been clicking lately...We will definately see how much we have progressed this week against USA and MTSU..

WKUFan518's assessment is correct. Our offense is improving since Crook's return but our defense is still not where it needs to be. I fully expect MT to blow it open early although I wouldn't be surprised by a close game. Even in the 'boro a month ago, WKU had it within 10 or less of MT until about 10 minutes to go. That surprised the hades out of me. The final score isn't indicative of what the first 30 minutes were like. Nevertheless, MT went on their scoring binge from the midpoint of the 2nd half to about the 5 minute mark. WKU couldn't recover. That's what I've seen MT do to several times lately. They'll dominate a 5-6 minute stretch and the opposing team doesn't recover.
