RE: WBB vs CMU on Sunday

There were a couple of calls, that I thought the officials got wrong, that replay showed the officials got correct. One being Inma's defensive rebound, where the refs said she stepped out of bounds, I was sure she didn't, replay showed I was wrong. Also there was a play where, I thought Dola drew a charge sliding across the lane. I was sure she was set, but the replay clearly showed she was still sliding into positions. I also know there was a call where CMU's coach was adamant that a Rocket, I believe it was Naama, flopped.
Naama has perfected flopping.

With a nice warm spell, corn will be going in soon. EVERYBODY loves corn.
WBB: could still be a bumpy ride without some movement in the polls. Having to win the MACC is annoying. What's holding up the NIU program? Seems there are plenty of good high school programs that way and not near the competition for recruits we have in OHIO and Michigan. Who is the best mid-major out that way?
Watching corn grow! Wow sounds unimpressive.
SIU, DePaul, Marquette, Bradley, UW-Milwaukee...
NU/Illinois/ND/Indiana/UW-Madison - bigger programs.
More schools than I realized.

As many times as that kid goes horizontal and does face plants on the hardwood (OK, don't say it!) I can give her a few flops. That shiner--did she get that Sunday or was that from a game or 2 back when she got whacked with an arm or elbow?

She was going to the basket, and got fouled hard in traffic. It was vs. Kent State (Pink game). It was reviewed for being flagrant, but was not judged to be so.

That's what I figured. I was hoping she didn't hurt her eye. She's tough as nails and I love her all-out investment in the game, but she's gotta take care of her body. One body can only take so much beatin'.

Not much meat on her bones to absorb punishment.
