With what opponents have been doing to FAU on the football field recently it seems appropriate to have a prison name.

But what I don't get is, how will the Geo Group benefit by sponsoring anything? I don't think people are going to want to line up to voluntarily stay there (well, everyone in prison does voluntarily decide to do something to get themselves their, but that's not the point), and it's not like criminals get a choice on where they serve their sentence at.

This was a gift from thier Foundation that is setup to give back to communities. The CEO is an FAU alum and wanted to give back to the University. Thats why they keep saying this is not a "marketing" deal but a "Gift"

Tax write-offs.

Not seeing why this is such a big deal... at the end of the day, they are still get 5 million dollars. The stadium's name doesn't change the quality of the stadium.
