RE: Possible Football Stadium Locations (East Tennesseean Article)
I think that the 50 yard line should be the lowest point in the field and that both of the end zones should be on a hill that way they can play football the same way my grandparents did.. Uphill in both directions lol.

That is a very popular feature these days. Here in Nashville, Vanderbilt made a grassy hill on the open end of their horseshoe as part of their football stadium renovations.

I like the idea of a grassy hill. It gives fans lots of opportunites for their game experience plus it gives the stadium a bowl type feel. +1.

100% agree. Would this even be possible with the space behind Knights?

I like the idea of the above poster, move the plant and parking is there.....as well as below Lucille Clement and the new garage areas for tailgating. A nice walk and they could even do some sort of Buc Walk to the stadium for fans from Culp Center area. As for a players Buc Walk, make it like Clemson does, from the field house to the locker rooms 2 hrs before game time......if we have a Hill??????????? Yes I grew up a Clemson fan.
buc walk is a great idea. i can see a pregame at the amphatheater with chearleaders, band, and burgers. then the band plays and marches down dossett drive with the fans walking behind them,,,,,,,,walking by the dorms with buc banners hanging out the windows, students joining in along the way,,,,,a straight mach to the stadium,,,,,,,,,,,,dude, a buc walk is a really great idea

That was my idea behind that the BUC walk for fans. That is what Clemson does the band marches through campus and down the big hill and around the stadium. It brings the fans to the game site fired up

Make the hill like what the Houston Astros have it their outfield. Start the hill at the 15 yard line and make it bumpy. This hill would be better than the blue turf a Boise State! It would create highlights for ESPN on a weekly basis. ETSU needs more national publicity!
This is hopefully a joke.
You read his posts, and you think he's joking?

Personally, I hope the field is built on a series of hydraulic lifts, so that when ETSU has the ball, they will be going downhill, and when the other team has the ball, they will be going uphill.
All other features are inconsequential to me.

Just think, opposing team would have to install little bumpy hills to train and prepare for ETSU visits. Home field advantage goes to ETSU!
