RE: Charles Harris decides to take Medical Redshirt
Good decision. Unless 2 wing players go down with injury this year...it's unlikely he would have seen the court if he returned from injury.
Next year is going to be interesting.
Graduating - Hutch, Pokely, and Loney
Frosh or RS Frosh - Svete, Haymond, McCormick, Harris and Washington
Svete, Haymond, Harris and Perry will all be looking to replace Hutch and Poke's minutes.

I'd say good decision. Get healthy and more attuned to Bronco basketball. It will pay off in a few years. Heck, maybe even next year. Nobody knows but there is precedent.

I was not surprised to read this today, as I was waiting for the tip off on Saturday night it was discussed with our seat neighbors that it should be considered at this point in the season. While I'm anxious to see what Mr. Harris will bring to the team, I'd just as soon see him do it full speed and without hesitation.
Always proud to be a Bronco.

Would be a good question to pose at the "Baseline Club" or whatever it's called. "Coach, what skillset should we expect from Chuck Harris next year?"

What?
CH III out with a bad shoulder? Not even his shooting hand!
Mikey basically played with one arm last year and it wasnt his dominant side.
Why are we coddling these kids?
Back when me AND MR. BUTTONS WERE KIDS WE WALKED 5 MILES TO SCHOOL ON BROKEN GLASS WITH NO SHOES OR SOCKS IN 6' OF SNOW IN JULY.

First sentence of the MLive article:
Quote:Charles Harris’ recovery from a knee injury prevented the Western Michigan University freshman wing from hitting the ground running at the outset of the season.

After I walked 5 miles uphill to hear Hawk talk tonight at the fastbreak club, I heard how Harris was taking the redshirt. Coach thought it was a great move.
