RE: bracketbusters: dont forget about thursday
Murray has been the cream of the crop in the OVC. They are still considered so by much of the media.

Sure, they have had a tough year, but that isn't too unusual after a blowout year like they had. Regardless, they are a good team that has had a little shooting slump.

I expect to get their best game. They WILL bring their "A" game. As we've seen through most of the league so far, the crowd will be pumped, it's on TV, and it is white out night. It should be an awesome game.

Game of the year tonight. If Belmont has any hopes of getting an at large they need a statement win tonight.

This is what I was afraid of. You really needed this game at home this year to have a chance to go unbeaten in conf and get at large bid. Looks like you will need to get the auto bid now if things continue this way. Down 19-10 right now.

Surprised no one make a Belmont vs Murray State thread tonight or maybe I missed it ? Biggest game of the year and crickets on the board here ?

Going to come down to winning the OVC tournament most likely now. Get that #1 seed get that double bye and win 2 games and go dancing.

I didn't go to the game because of Belmont softball being played at the same time. But, I can tell you this much, 26 first-half points and a 10 point half-time hole won't help a team too much to victory.
