It's caused by some quirk in the calendar for the next two years. There are more weekends than usual during football season.

All of our old conference mates were placed at the end of the schedule. That's a pretty tough four games. 2 at home and 2 away.

Absolutely crucial for us to beat Troy in that opening game. We have to be 2-2 when conference play begins.

I had hoped that Sept 14th bye week was a lower level CUSA team (USM )

Overly Optimistic? 10 wins and we earn a 6th home game.
Pessimistic? UTSA beats us for their first ever C-USA win.

It looks like our guys may end up with the most frequent flyer miles in CUSA.

Looks like 5-7 to me. If we beat Troy ill reassess.

I thought we'd be playing Rice early as we've normally played them early Oct & thought FAU would be one of the last games of the season like UCF normally was & that we'd play USM around Halloween. Totally different now but at least 2 off weeks instead of an off week the before we've even played a couple of games. Don't particularly care for the off week going into NWSt but just after LSU is a benefit to that & mid season off week as well but it might be too soon to say we'll have two offweeks as maybe a game will be moved to weeknight for TV.

Way too early to say a prediction since nobody has had spring game yet nor who signs that might see playing time. While we're capable of going bowling not sure if it'll happen this year yet.
