Bad recruiting news
Wow, the massacre is over tonight. WVU got its clock cleaned in Mississippi/gulf coast region. I can't ever remember being so bummed out before signing day. The MSU Bulldogs practically won ever battle with WVU over players. Look out for Mississippi State in the future, they are going to have some players
-- This really shows the uphill climb WVU football faces being from a small state....there is no talent among WV HS seniors and literally the entire Mountaineer class will be made up of kids from out of state

Count me as one who is really surprised at the way WVU seems to be struggling this recruiting season. Watch out for MSU? They are worse than Kentucky. We had no problem pulling a couple of guys that were considering offers from Croom and Co. I just don't get it, I fully expected the EERs to have a top 15 class coming off of the year they had. Louisville has a few nice Kentucky plaers in this years class but the majority of the quality is out of state talent.
I know recruiting rankings aren't the end-all-be-all but I'm stunned.

I'm sure LSU, Bama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia and Tennessee are just "trembling".
Relax...so a kid wanted to stay home...that doesn't make a team one to look "out for".

ucf fans shouldn't ever talk recruiting smack, especially when the thread has nothing to do with them.

-- Couple of reasons for the WVU class to be so poorly ranked...First it is going to be a very small class...probably between only 12-15 players...Less players means less stars which means a lower ranking
-- Secondly...a lot of players seem to be looking for something else...Its frustrating how many times thus far that WVU has finished second to big name recurits this season... Just in the last week...we lost the WR Thomas to UL, lost Aaron Berry to Pitt..both players WVU really wanted...both had WVU as #2. Also, we have had several quality players commit, and then decide to go some where else. Its been a tough couple weeks
-- WVU should still be in the Top 50 recruiting...but our string of having the best recruiting classes in the BE appears to be over

-- No one said that the Bulldogs are going to be in the SEC championship any time soon...but what I am saying is that they should be respectable soon
--- Sadly...it wasn't one player who picked MSU over WVU...more like 3 or 4

The state of Mississippi is loaded with HS talent. The state produces more NFL per capita than any state in the Union.

Uh I don't think that was smack. And it's not like we have some sordid history of back handed recruiting tactics. Chill out.

They did leave for awhile, but that whole Confederacy thing didn't work out well for them.
