Here's another list of Big East Schools.
Endowments are important to schools wanting to maintain a full portfolio of sports and stay competitive in Division I athletics. Most of the Big East schools look healthy from an endowment perspective. I'm surprised that UCONN's endowment isn't larger.
In terms of expansion candidates, ECU and Central Florida have shockingly low endowments. And Memphis has a long way to go. How much these numbers factor into their futures as Big East members remains to be seen.
