50. Rutgers 2005 Record: 7-5
Why to get excited: After getting to a bowl, the program is on a bit of a roll and welcomes back just enough players to make a run at another post-season game. The return of RBs Brian Leonard and Ray Rice gives the offense a focus, while the line has the potential to be really good. PK Jeremy Ito should be one of the nation

66. Connecticut 2005 Record: 5-6
Why to get excited: Last year was a rebuilding one full of suspensions and injuries, but the Huskies still almost pulled off a winning season. Matt Bonislawski will be back at quarterback, while Terry Caully returns after a sensational season. Along with the normally mediocre Big East slate, UConn gets a breezy non-conference schedule playing Wake Forest, Army and Navy at home, and going on the road to face Indiana.
Why to be grouchy: The defensive front seven takes a hit, and the running back depth is a little thin with the early departure of Cornell Brockington to the NFL. The Big East appears to be better in 2006, so finishing in the top four might be tougher than expected.
The number one thing to work on is: Punting. The passing game was the biggest issue of 2005, but that

If Louisville beats Miami and WVU handles their end of the bargain, the game at Papa John this fall will be for a shot at the national championship. That sounds like pretty good motivation for both teams. It will come down to who can outscore the other, and ought to be one hell of a game to watch.

It will top anything WVU had with BC, Miami, or VT. This game and the backyard brawl are the marquee matchups in the Big East so far. This game will be the game of the year in the Big East next year. Bet on it, and take it to the bank.
