I tuned at the tail end today of the Eric Hasseltine show on Memphis radio. Hasseltine is the radio voice of the Memphis Grizzlies and has a crappy radio show sandwiched between two good shows, the Chris Vernon Show and the Gary Parrish Show.

I didn't catch anything earlier in the show, but at the end of their show, they have a cheesy segment called "Rapid Fire" in which the co host asks Hasseltine a couple of questions and he answers them..."rapid fire"

Here is what I heard, almost directly quoted:

Cohost: Eric, how much will the Tigers beat UAB by tomorrow night?
Hasseltine: I don't know, but I hope it is by 800 billion trillion because their stupid coach down there refused to come on our show, saying we are not important enough.


Like I said, I don't know if they discussed this earlier in the show, and I don't know if Haase had already done a lot of shows in Memphis, or maybe he doesn't do opponents radio shows, but it was funny that they were so pissed off.

Kudos to Coach Haase.

Why would a Memphis fan or radio host care about hearing Hasse? Mike Davis was far more entertaining LOL.

didn't know people actually liten to Hasseltine...

Like I said, I caught the tail end, waiting for Parrish to come on.

Lesson Learned: Memphis has at least one radio station.

Just go away if that's the best trash talk you have. Haase can't undo what Davis did in less than a full season. We'll be fine, you can move to the BE board whenever you'd like because you won't be missed here.

Your fans are constantly on our boards. Just returning the favor without getting banned but getting my point across.

Which fans? We don't have all that many here, so I doubt constantly on our boards is accurate.

Didn't realize more that we were hanging out on the mempiss board.

No desire to post there, although I do browse there once every few weeks.

Haven't done it in a few weeks though.
