Thats a ridiculous statement ( 25 students ). They HAVE shown up for several games and virtually filled up 2 sections, one to the left of the band and one to the right of the band. They did not. however, show up during the holiday period.

+1 Students, while school has been in session, has been the most consistent group. The bigger question is, where are the fans & alumni? 1500 should not be available.

Not if they aren't going to use them.

They use them now more than ever. When I was a student in the mid to late 90s, we were worse.

Give them a break. It is improving!

Not sure what the plan is regarding the number of student tickets available in regular games versus Memphis games, but I would suspect that a larger number would be available for students in non-Memphis games.

There were a couple hundred at some of the football games. Not for the whole game, but there were there for a bit.

I get why the players are frustrated about the sudden interest in the Memphis game compared to the attitude towards the rest of the schedule, but I'm glad at least one game is this popular.

He is serious. He sits up in the top & enters through the back way.

I am being serious. I sit on the 50 yard line. 50 rows up. Im the same age as the students, so its quite possible I look down to see what the student section looks like. I'm not impressed. Counting the attendance of students for one game where the freshmen run across the field doesn't count. That's how I determined I don't see more than 50 students a game.

There might have been a good section for the Troy game, I can't remember.

For the most part the student section at the football games is not noticeable from where I sit.

However, I don't enter through the main gate either, I come in through the side gate which leads to the middle part of the stadium.

Agreed. Matter of fact we complimented them on here for showing up when a lot of the regulars stayed home.

Not many showed up during the Christmas Break. That is many people period.

I don't recall there being anywhere close to less than 50 students at a football game. Is the turnout great. No. it's like I tell the media. No our numbers are not great but at least give us credit for what we do draw.

For football, let it be noted, that I am not exactly sure where the seating starts & ends for the students.

For basketball, it is quite obvious. They are the bunch of people that is surrounded by very little people. (no not midgets)
