Would love to know how this chart gets the info---like how much from each sport and how much is TV ---Is any attributed to the tuition cost of the school. Can you get this info???
It's revenue, so it's what you bought in not what you paid out.

RE: Total Revenues by Team
Budgets are still misleading, tuition is rolled into nearly every athletic budget, I know that it really hurts Louisiana that tuition is ridiculously cheap. Whereas Tulane's budget also reflects nearly $30,000 per year tuition.

RE: Total Revenues by Team
FYI for comparison
App St - $17,748,605
Ga Southern - $11,205,505 ($4 million more in fees if FBS)

These two schools can expect to at least double their guarantee payouts.

Like someone else said, these public numbers can be deceptive. I know our "donation" revenue is listed as $600,000 which is a check we write directly to the Athletics Dept, but there's a little over a million more that the Athletic Foundation spends directly not included in revenue.

Here's a link for most public schools:

WKU fans? Ok we know you do not go to the games in great numbers, and NCAA money is down, so where do you get the ten milliion more than UL? Fees, Booster clubs, private sugar daddy's, all of the listed? It is not fans in the stands so what is it?

President Gary Ransdell strips in the middle of campus and we throw 50 dollar bills at him.

Basketball Revenue:
WKU: $4.2 million
UL: $2.5 million

Football Revenue:
WKU: $5.9 million
UL: $5.9 million

Other Sports Revenue:
WKU: $6 million
UL: $3.9 million

Not allocated by sport:
WKU: $9.7 million
UL: $3 million

I'm guessing the difference is primarily basketball and corporate contributions???? I hate guessing though.

Re: Total Revenues by Team
Ga Southern has always operated on the cheap. Our football roots are closely tied to UGA and many of our early support were primarily UGA alumni/fans with ties to Ga Southern or the community.

We will pick up some market share with an FBS move. We actually lost market share when we didn't move in the early 90's and when the opportunity was there again in 2000, the leadership was opposed.

Savannah, Macon, Augusta, and the towns around Statesboro think kindly of us, but no one cares about FCS and most think of it (justifiably) as D II. We have several thousand alumni living in these areas who just don't want to support FCS.
