JMU is coming off of a two game losing streak after losing its star defender Andre Semenov. Not sure what to expect, but I had a feeling that that last two games would be tough. Now, I think we start getting back on track vs UNCW. The game will be this Wednesday at the Convo.

afraid we'll get worked by Rendleman (sp?)

Noticed where UNCW is 0-2 vs CAA teams thus far. They also played Richmond and lost 101--58. We lost by 2. Hopefully we don't get worked by Rendleman and lose the game. That would certainly stink, especially with the NBCSN national game coming up this Saturday vs Drexel.

The game is tonight and I plan to post the progression of the game in this thread. Game starts at 7 PM. Hopefully where I sit in the convo isn't going to keep me from getting good phone coverage. Join me if you can.

This one could be a real tipping point, I'm afraid. UNCW is pretty awful, and this is at home. After the Hampton debacle we have got to get a W here to right the ship a bit, and get back to winning. A loss here and who knows how quick this can spiral out of control.

Agree, we need a win badly here. Hopefully the frosh will being home will get them back to playing well-actaully the whole team, just not the frosh.

Any further word on Sem? I guess he's still out? We have GOT to find a way to play ball even if he is out for an extended time. Putting all the eggs in one basket (and eggshell is pretty apropos here, actually) is nuts. There appears to be a fair amount of talent out there, get them working together.

No further news, the only thing the notes mentioned was that he was still nursing his ankle.

Up 38-21 at the half. Team looked good in first half. Took a while to get started as they did not score until around the 15 minute mark. They are doingca good job keeping Rendleman in check.

I like that they ar3 throwing plenty of bodies at him, Rendlemen, it seems. Goins, Bessick, Gene, all can post him up and move him off. Haven't seen a lot of this so far but will catch the second half.
