I missed on Berry. Looked to me like they were just going back to what they had.

You didn't miss! Weatherbie didn't have Kolton Browning! Berry without Browning is a poor coach. Frank Solich made him look like a junior high coach. Of course Solich should still be coaching at Nebraska too.

This hire is almost as bad a La Tech refusing a bowl game. Fire a promising young coach for a proven mediocre/poor coach. Makes no sense and leaves me with a whole bunch of ???????? about Garcia.

Yes he had head coaching experience, but its LOSING experience.

FIU fans thought they were going to get to sleep with Anglenia Jolie and wound up in bed with Rossanne Barr.

Not everyone is as lucky as FAU. FAU fans thought they were going to sleep with Rosie O'donnell and they got exactly what they wished for 05-stirthepot

That was not even funny. If you were as brilliant and clever as you pretend to be then you would know that the Miami immigrant sport of choice is beisbol. FIU doesnt have attendance problems because their Latinos. They have attendance problems because most people, like my cousins, root for Miami and UF.

RE: Hey FIU Finally Hired a Coach!
Looking for something else, I stumbled across this that I wrote after the ASU-FIU game this year

Quote:Now here is the cut out and save to prove me wrong in the future comment.

I don’t get the Mario Cristobal love-fest the media has. 23-27 with T Y Hilton on the roster and 2-16 without him. Went 11-9 in 7 point games with Hilton, that includes the Hilton Heave, a four TD effort against ULM at home, a bowl game kick-off return for a TD and a hook and lateral to stay alive in that game, and a Louisville game where he scored TD receptions of 74 and 83. Cristobal took his school from a pit, but so did Rickey Bustle and Steve Roberts and each only ever managed to tie for the conference title once, but the other two didn’t sit in the middle of such an amazing recruiting area.

That is exactly what I told all my friends this past season. FIU will lose a lot of games because Hilton is gone. Everyone told me they had a great defense. Yea, but the Sun Belt has better offenses, you have to be able to score to be successful, and score in bunches.

That sounds great and all, except for the fact that our offense scored MORE points this past year than Hilton's senior year. Those who were following the program know the defense was the problem.
