Terence Jones has 7 points. Rucker and Alihodzic has 6.

Can't wait to find out how bad the officiating is from AttallaBlaze.

It was great officiating: they let Rucker inbound the ball to himself.

Ha ha! I saw that too. Rucker threw the ball inbounds and then tapped it to TJ.

I believe Purifoy was 6-6 from the free throw line, and 5 of those were perfect swishes.

That would make Purifoy 37-39 (95%).

MB, what is the season record for free throw shooting?

Some bad shooting but loved the hustle. Twelve steals and 23 turnovers for GSU. The offensive rebound and put-back by Rucker on Swing's miss late was pure toughness.

Go Blazers, Beat the Flyers

But we know that Purifoy and Taylor can do better than they are doing this year. Purifoy has shown flashes in the past few games, and QT is getting his assists, but we need consistency. Hoopy had a cheering section on this board last year. Where are they now?

MB, what is the season record for free throw shooting?

Individually:
1. 90.2% Andy Kennedy (1989-90)
2. 88.9 Barry Bearden (1989-90)
3. 86.8 Reginald Turner (1988-89)
4. 86.5 Andy Kennedy (1990-91)
5. 86.0 Robert Vaden (2007-08)
5. 86.0 Greg Leet (1979-80)
7. 85.4 Andy Kennedy (1988-89)
7. 85.4 Tracy Foster (1986-87)
9. 85.2 George Jones (1978-79)
10. 84.5 Jordan Swing (2011-12)

For the team, the 1989-90 team shot 75.9% for top team honors.

It's really early to talk about season records though.

True, but Purifoy is off to an incredible start.

GSU can ugly up a game like Davis or Larry E. I can see how they upset VT and lost to Samford.

RE: Georgia Southern
Full Disclosure....I graduated from GA Southern. I am a Ga Southern fan, as well as a UAB fan.
(I know some can't handle being a fan of two teams but when you have an athlete at a different school than where you went, whadda u gonna do?)
Didn't wanna bring that up before the game but now that it is over and UAB won, I can.

I really don't care too much about BB so, I just hoped it would be a good/close game and it seems that it was.

So congrats to both of my teams. UAB won and Ga Southern made it respectable.

A win/win for me.

Their game plan was to take Swing away from us. Their coach was pretty worried about him the while game.

I had a former co-worker who passed away several years ago that had big hands (he was a big fella)

Anyway, he sent out an email & left out the R in the word shirt in his email because it was hard to type with his large fingers.

AB's emails sometimes reminds me of the guy because you have to translate part of the email to comprehend what is being written.

I don't believe I will ever be a fan of trying to type on a phone, pad, device, etc.

It's nice to have other guys that can step up in the scoring column. teams took away Rucker and Swing really stepped up earlier this season... a team takes away Swing and T. Jones steps up

In college (at Ga Southern), I worked for Chambers Electrical. We went to get some t-shirts at "Fun Shirts"

The shirts were printed as "Chambers Electical" (missing the R).
The guy that owned the place tried to talk my boss into keeping them, after all they were only missing the "R".

My boss explained that without the "R" would be Fun *****.

The guy re-made them.

You can't tell anything about that game. All that matters is that we won. As Attalla said, they ugly a game up. Almost all of their scores are close games.

Still a win, though

We will be strong underdogs in our next 4 games.
@ Dayton
@ UCF
Memphis
@ USM

We could easily go on a four game losing streak, so at least it won't be a five game losing streak if that happens.

And do their wins count any more than ours does? It was an ugly game, a bad shooting night, and we still found a way to win. At the end of the season if we go 12-4 in conference we aren't going to say but we did play pretty poorly against Georgia Southern. A win is a win and a loss is a loss. I don't take solace in losing to a great team by 3 points(and others don't either or MD would still be here because he almost beat Memphis just about every year) and I don't fret over beating a poor team by the same amount.

We all knew(or should have known) that this season was probably going to be a bit of a struggle. We are undersized, and now officially, undermanned. We don't have the players to play the way Haase truly wants to this year. All in all, I am fairly pleased with the way this season has went. We are likely going to lose to a team we shouldn't, and I feel confident that we can pull off a win against a team we probably shouldn't beat too. It's going to be okay. Haase was left with half a team(and I'm being generous here), and he's done a pretty decent job up to this point. We are building for the future, and based off of what he's done so far, I'm excited about that future.
