I think it was his nephew who played for Petrino. I think he played for Schnellenberger.

Brian Brohm is his brother. Don't know about his nephew.

RE: Jeff Brohm to WKU?
(brian) He is the younger brother of former University of Louisville and NFL Quarterback, Jeff Brohm. Jeff is currently the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at UAB. His other brother, Greg Brohm, played wide receiver at Louisville and had a stint in the CFL at the Edmonton Eskimos camp before being cut. His older sister, Kim Brohm, was a three sport athlete at Spalding University. She played softball, volleyball, and basketball for the Pelicans.

Okay, so there's no nephew?

Damn, this is like trying to keep the Pinkney ECU quarterbacks straight.

RE: Jeff Brohm to WKU?
WKU just added seven asst coaches and brohm was not one of them. they did not announce a DC or OC so he still may leave but its not a done deal.

No time to "loose" any sleep over it one way or the other.

The main guy has stayed. We will be fine.

Drew Champlin ‏@DrewChamplin
WKU announcing OC tomorrow. I've been added to email distribution for that, so signs point to Brohm. That's also what @MrChadBishop saying.

FWIW.

I would put stock into it coming from Drew. He is locked in on this.

So there it is. I've generally liked McGee's choices so far. We'll see how it goes from here.

I think that McGee is generally calling plays and coaching QB's anyhow, the duties are shared to some degree but he really keeps his hand in there.

It will be interesting to see who comes in next.

Maybe a former Arkansas QB who is in the coaching profession or someone like that.
