RE: LCB fire up
Great job Chips! Happy for those guys. The season didn't start out well but they got back to 6-6 and proved their mettle in the bowl game. Didn't they lose 3 guys to suspension just before bowl game?

I only saw bits of the game on TV, but Radcliffe is a good QB if you give him time to throw.

Two great punts.

From what it sounds like, road conditions on the way there were, well, less than ideal. So probably they were still filtering in.

I think this is the first time a MAC team has won the LCB in 6 years. I am surprised by that as this is our flagship bowl. We used to dominate this bowl in the early years against pretty solid teams too. Hopefully this will start a run of MAC wins for years to come.

But what was up with those urine stains (streaks, really) on those jerseys?

RE: LCB fire up
Glad CMU won. They deserved to. Gives good reason to doubt all the pundits who said the MAC was going to be overmatched in every contest. While the score was close, the game was not. CMU dominated that game from start to finish. Yes, WKU got a fortunate call that kept their go ahead scoring drive alive - but the scoring play call was correct (as the later one saying CMU didn't score was also correct), so it was not decided by the refs.

I still don't trust the play calling of our coach though. A wasted opportunity at the half to go ahead by more - and no time outs used to preserve time if WKU had managed to tie or go ahead. It just seems odd that a former QB has such bad field strategy. Shouldn't that be his strongest natural skill?

I agree with the WKU's coaches decision to go for the win. When you're on the road, against a better team (as every game stat catagory showed), and you have a chance to either win or go to overtime - you go for the win.
