FIU/Texas Southern 1pm CT
UALR/South Alabama 2:05pm CT
Arkansas State/Kent State 6pm CT

The MT/Vandy battle should be a battle to the end. The WKU/UofL battle will most likely be a slaughter. WKU is the walking wounded and will be outmatched on every level. I'm a WKU fan so I'm hopeful but not totally oblivious to the obvious.

The Kent State/ASU battle should be a fun little pre bowl matchup. Ironically, this is the 2nd straight year that one of our olympic sports has faced our bowl opponent in a sport, either soon before or after the bowl game. We beat Northern Illinois in baseball last year.

My guess is the basketball side of this meeting will not go our way. We havent been on the road since the disastorous Florida two-step trip, but our results havent been great away from Jonesboro this year.

Middle Tennessee opened as 5 1/2 point favorite and last I looked had moved to a 7 point favorite. I think this has to be the first time MT has been considered by vegas to be a favorite over the Vandy men.

Good luck to wku over louisville.

History says Vandy will bring a crappy crowd a mile from campus. Middle will bring a good crowd. Middle wins the game.
WKU UL will have a great crowd (will outdraw MUTS/VU). Full strength it would be a fun game to watch. With our injuries, ugh. Could get ugly unless we are on fire. UL will wear us out pressing and suffocating us in their 2-3, and Pricktino will love every minute of it.

The Middle vs Vandy game will be the better game although Vandy is not as good this year, I expect the muts to win this one. The Cards will steamroll the Toppas especially if we have the same lineup we had against VCU. The second half was without Crook, Price, Akol, Kaspar, and very little Fant. The scrubbs were over matched. Could get ugly Saturday. 03-banghead

It was more of a match up situation, I believe, against VCU but he did hurt his knee at Murray. I doubt he is 100% again.

He's a trey-shootin' machine against us. I think he made more 3's against MT than he did the rest of the year combined (last year).

Last time wku played Vandy at the Summit center Vandy only brought a few hundred fans and that's when they was ranked! Louisville will bring 10k+ and wku will bring 5-8k , I doubt Vandy brings over 4 k which leaves MT carrying the weight

And Vandy did not disappoint with there're crappy fans (300-500?) total attendance was just over 8300

I'm guessing 12-14k for the WKU vs Louisville game today....would that not be crazy to have two teams from KY out number two teams from the city of Nashville, I guess we will know soon enough

USA and UALR have reached halftime with the Jags up 39-30. It has been a very physical game.

USA ended winning 77-62 over UALR in one of our better defensive efforts of the season. We also had perhaps our best assist-turnover ratio of the season. Interim coach Jeff Price is 1-0 at USA and USA is 3-0 in the Sun Belt.

10,700 at WKU vs Lville. The crowd was a 50/50 split.

They said that it outdrew the Vandy / MTSU game by about 2400. But for some reason Vandy fans are not willing to drive two miles to support thier team against a Sun Belt team. It's not a knock on MTSU.

I did not take it as such. Our ticket mgr says there were approx. 8000 MT fans and 400 Vandy fans. The Tire Barn got very loud when we made our runs. U could barely hear the Candy faithful. I was pleased with the turnout in Blue

I was there and I would say that is about right even though both sides were wearing red making it hard to see the split.
