When you have been in charge of the national college football clown show for a year and have been a laughing-stock all football season.....you need to find some outside party to focus the attention of your fan base on as a distraction.

At least he didn't spell it wrong after calling someone else out for bad spelling!

UALR has carried this torch for some time since the Newell days. This is pretty poor in Longs' part. Hope ASU hives him hell. Still think its a matter of time before he drops The Policy though.

Cost us a spot in the NIT too. But that was under Broyles. I think when he passes things will change. Not that I am rooting for anyone to die of course but I think it's his influence that's keeping this going.

I'd be surprised if UA ever plays ULM again. The Citadel is never going to get a rematch either.

I've always thought it was wrong of ASU to play Bama and Auburn as long as Troy (and now USA) are treated as they are by Bama and Auburn.

For the record, I like and respect ASU. I actually tweeted to Long, "Jeff, don't make ULM come whoop you guys again. ASU would have spanked the Hogs on the field this year. WAY better team."

I would be proud of that post ASU. It means you guys are on their mind. They must be a little concerned about your terrific season. We have a similar problem with LSU. People that can't spell LSU and have never set foot on the campus love those Tigggahs! Keep winning and you will win over more fans like that for better or worse.
