Miami loses to Wright State, 67-59, though it was closer than the score shows. WSU had 27 free throws the second half, that'll kill you every time.

Edit: Oops, axeme already had the score on there.

Will the pre-conference nightmare ever end? I'd be hard pressed to find a more dismal MAC season with such very few highlights. There is just not much evidence that there is much quality in the conference this year. The bad is bad and the good is not measurably better. And we have begun few seasons with higher expectations than this season. Very disappointing. Somebody make it stop!03-banghead

Are you suggesting dropping the sport?

Of course not. If we dropped sports because they were non-competitive with the top teams, BG's athletic department would only be women's basketball.

Buffalo may have lost Oldham for the season with a wrist injury, but UB is up on Washington State at the half 37-35

Both teams are 7 for 11 from three.

Might be - they play 'defense' like nuns. Bad habits. 03-lmfao

Broncos up 65 - 42, even with Freshmen all over the floor for WMU.

Much better effort today from the Bobcats, especially the offense. Allowed a guy to go off for a career high in points yet again, but Ohio forced 20+ turnovers and had 29 assists.

these two stats along with the fact that we only had nine turnovers of our own tells me there is still a life in this team. let's hope for a road win at Oklahoma next week!!

I would hope for a better effort from Ohio seeing that UMES was 0-10 going into today's game. LOL

just because a team is 0-10 doesn't mean our team would play well against that 0-10 team. we've seen too many times through the years Ohio playing down to its competition. not today and that's a good thing after the last couple of games.
