Even more depressing is we offered WT to be the highest paid coach in the Sun Belt...Just hope we can offer close to the same money to bring a respectable coach and staff with experience and recruiting ties down south....Nervous about this hire as if we go young and cheap again, we could be in trouble this time around...

The more coaches moving on and moving up, means better candidates to choose from. The Sun Belt is no longer a coaches' graveyard.

I've heard 1.2 and 1.4 thrown around. But it would only be to keep him and not for a new comer

Which to me is the wrong logic to have..NOt saying we have to offer that much, but at least 800-900k for a experienced coach and staff to come in..I will be curious to see what we offer out next hc..I would guess 400k for a cheap assistant coach...Which to me is a huge mistake and could set us back years..Come on pay someone with experience already! Taggart ws going to make that much in three seasons after a second half collapse this season and we cannot start someone close to that amount with Div. I experience, does not make sense?
