Hi all, just thought I'd let you get some inside info on moi.

I am from southern NJ. The niece of a dairy farmer. I can bale hay, milk a cow and drive a tractor.
I am a die hard Phillies and Eagles fan - it helps to be used to hard losses and dissapointing seasons sometimes. My upbringing did just that.
Moved to TX in 1982 but have never switched loyalties.
My daughter attended TXST. Received her BA in 2004 and her MA in 2007. As such, I am not an alum but I am a huge sports fan.
I have been married for 38 yrs, have a son and a daughter and 1 grandchild, born 9/22/12 (and I still made the game)

I started following TXST football in the middle of the 2004 season and have not missed a home game since. I don't get to many away games but have attended some SLC games as well as UH, TCU, TTU, Baylor and A&M.
I did not catch onto the baseball team until 2008 but I also hold season tickets there.

I spent the 2011 season on the field taking photos but missed seeing the game (and it was way too hard to be impartial) so got back into the stands for 2012.

I have followed sports since 1964 (gads!) and know a thing or two about them. I was a tomboy and played softball through HS, then coached some local youth teams for a few years. I had cousins and friends that played on our HS team. I was relegated to touch football with the neighborhood guys. So, I am very into the sport.

I know of the SBC teams but I will be asking questions the next few months to get to know our future conference mates a bit better.

The funny thing is, when we first started the mod nominations, I never had any inkling of her as a mod. It wasnt until one of the Texas State posters brought her up that I realized it would be outstanding to have a woman to help keep us crazy mods in line.

Besides, we as a team felt that the newbies needed representation.

she's been a good poster since day one. seen her not take the troll-bait more than once. she knows her sports and is mature. perfect for a mod.
